Douglas W. LaFay, MBA - Senior Financial Advisor

Douglas LaFay acquired his practice in mid-2021. Securities registered since 2000, Doug’s responsibilities include his role as the registered principal and director of portfolio management.

Prior to joining the practice, Mr. LaFay spent nearly 15 years as an Advisor to Financial Advisors and Vice-President with the trillion-dollar investment company, Franklin Templeton Investments. Doug started out at the St. Petersburg offices, but also worked and spent time in the Hong Kong Central, Singapore and the San Mateo locations. His last ten years were spent covering parts of the states of New York and Pennsylvania – in fact, Concord Wealth Management was a client of his during that time.

Doug employs a holistic approach to wealth planning to help his clients achieve their goals and objectives.

Mr. LaFay earned his B.A. in Legal Studies at the University at Buffalo, and went on to complete his M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance at Canisius College.

A native of western New York, Doug has three sons, Matthew (now in Denver), Nicholas (now in Louisville) and Donald (Brandeis School of Law at Univ of Louisville). Doug and his wife Jazmín, recent empty nesters, live in Elma, New York.

Mr. LaFay is an avid videographer chronicling his favorite athletes from kindergarten to Saint Mary’s High School Varsity Sports as well as his family’s extensive travels overseas.
